Tiago Bortolini serves as Science Program Manager at Paradox Science Institute, where he oversees research projects from study design and analysis to successful implementation. He fosters collaboration across disciplines and people, offering expertise in methodology and research planning to advance the Institute’s mission of exploring the frontiers of science.
Tiago brings extensive expertise in research on experimental psychology and neuroscience. Originally from Brazil, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a Master’s in Psychobiology, focusing on social psychology. He earned his Ph.D. in Neuroscience by investigating the neural basis of group attachment. Subsequently, he worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the D’Or Institute, where he is currently a research affiliate in social and affective neuroscience.
Passionate about bridging disciplines, Tiago advocates for open, rigorous, and transdisciplinary science. Paradox Science Institute provides the ideal environment to align his expertise with a mission focused on bold and rigorous inquiry into the complexities of reality and human nature.
